Visual Literacy Tools and the Australian Curriculum

Join us this Thursday at 8pm Melbourne time (AEST +10) as Ness shares and discusses ‘Visual Literacy Tools and the Australian Curriculum’.  The Australian Curriculum has a shift in focus on texts and the use of general capabilities. These capabilities are expected to be woven within all curriculum areas to give learners opportunities to experience them. Visual Literacy is one of these general capabilities.

We will explore a couple of tools that will assist educators to incorporate the visual literacy capability into their lessons and units. These tools include Thinglink, Pinterest, Storyboardthat, and Storybird. If you have your own favourite tools bring your ideas and we can share them.

WHEN: Thursday 4th July 2013

WHERE:  Recording Link

TIME: 8pm Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane, Australia time (GMT+11)
