Steve Hargadon will be in Australia for this event and conducting the webinar from the North East region of Victoria whilst he is on tour! Steve brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in Connecting Educators and in building Personal Learning Networks.

Why is this relevant right now?

Recently there has been a push for more Smart e-learning Strategies from the e-mentors and e-champions in the ACFE Ementor program – such things as:

Identify and build capacity for e-learning

  • through individual support

  • work smarter not harder

  • build e-learning skills of providers to help learners

  • share and spread the expertise in e-learning

Find new ways of teaching and learning

  • inspire and engage educators and learners

  • adapt existing educational skills to online or web-based environments

Connect people with wider networks and community

  • bring existing community into the online space

  • encourage people to share their experience with peers

  • empower educators to seek solutions from a Personal Learning Network (PLN)

Help and support organisations and educators to

  • develop digital literacy skills

  • engage learners

  • discover e-potential

  • support learners and improve student outcomes

  • embed 21st century technologies

  • improve sustainability

  • develop the case for e-learning and e-business

If you are keen to explore ways of improving your personal learning networks online come along and join the conversations at 1:oo pm on Monday March 25 at http://tinyurl.com/29tyznz
