Community Connect Let the sharing begin.

Community Connect kicks of this week with a fabulous new format.

Our Team will become more proactive and after a 7 week introduction series every Thursday at 8pm  where each presenter will introduce their ideas and genre to us all. They will then look after a 5 week block each. So this year is the year of sharing from all sectors of education.

This team of educators will be the prime moderators for 2012 and will invite guests and offer you a fantastic selection of online PD. They will cover many areas of interest to suit all levels and sectors of education.

Meet our team




Junita Lyon: ACFE e-Mentor for Gippsland Region, trainer and assessor for LENH ,Online co- facilitator of Reflect and Connect , Coordinator Manager  Community Connect. A passionate mentor, helping educators build their PLN and developing their e-capability. Collaborator designer, facilitator e-skills mooc 2012





Penny Bentley: Secondary Maths/Science tutor and content writer. Via social media and her Personal Learning Network, Penny mentors educators as they incorporate digital resources and content into their teaching practice.





Helen Doyle: Pedagogy officer University New England. Bachelor Financial Administration (UNE), Graduate Diploma Education (UNE), Graduate Certificate in ICT (Education) (CSU) Teaches pre service teachers and is interested in Quest Atlantis as a virtual learning tool.

Mutuota Kigotho :  Literacys in Context teacher-trainer University New England   Most of his students are training to be primary school teachers while a smaller number are training to be secondary school teachers of Literature.

Simon Pankhurst :Teacher-Librarian at Charters Towers State High School currently teaches  Certificate II in Information Technology, English Communication and Studies in Society and the Environment.

Pam Ridd : ACFE E-Mentor Adult Learning and Development works  for private RTO’s and in the Community education sector.  Has a passion for lifelong learning  which has led  into e-learning.





Adrienne Kajewski : Primary school teacher that is interested in engaging her young students , collaborator designer e-skills mooc 2012

    Great to see this approach! You have some real dynamos here. All the best with the 2012 series. I shall try and attend when I can but Friday is my busiest day at school.
