Shin Gog is currently one of the Ultranet leadusers and is involved in an eBookboxes project designing web based teacher resources
The eLearning resource he will discuss is Quizlet.
Quizlet is a web-based flashcard creator where students and teachers can create and share flashcards as well as search for existing flashcards created by other educators. Users can learn and revise vocabulary and important terms through a variety of activities on the site. It is also possible to download favourite and high use flashcards to mobile devices.
This web tool is particularly useful for teachers and students in subjects where remembering important facts and vocabulary is essential and students can do so through a fun and engaging way.
